Assessments of the impacts of climate change in East Africa
Support to DFID for the development of policy relevant knowledge on the physical, social and economic impact of climate in East Africa. We initiated the design of regional assessments of the impacts of climate change in East Africa, beginning with Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi.
Our work was to develop an appropriate design, negotiate with stakeholders in-country on their needs (principally in central ministries such as planning, finance and environment), and identify organisations capable of developing high-quality policy support to decision-makers.
