Development Effectiveness Review on Senegal is the second in series to focus on the operations of the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) in a particular country.The review of Bank’s Senegal country programme illustrates the progress that Senegal has made in recent years on its national development agenda, and the contribution African Development Bank has made in supporting those results. It contains a number of useful lessons both for other African countries and for AfDB as a development bank. It also sets out some of the directions AfDB needs to take in the coming period to ensure that development partnership and operations in Senegal continue to improve.
