Noelie Hounzanme

Analyst

As an Analyst, Noelie supports with research, analysis, business development and project management primarily in Agulhas’ CRUNCH Hub, but also inthe Climate Hub. Her role involves the coordination of data collection and reviews produced for the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) as well as clients such as the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Noelie has experience conducting qualitative research on a range of topics including informal entrepreneurship, labour rights, peace and conflict resolution, social protection and women’s economic empowerment.

She holds an MSc in International Development and Management at Lund University in Sweden and a BA in International Relations from Keele University in the UK. Prior to joining Agulhas, Noelie worked for the International Projects Group at BDO LLP, providing administrative support across the Economic Growth, Public Financial Management and Aid Oversight teams. She also worked as a Research Intern at the Labour Resource and Research Institute (LaRRI) in Namibia, supporting with the delivery of research, labour rights education, advocacy and public dialogue events. Clients whose projects she has supported include, the FCDO, World Bank, AfDB, ILO and SADC.


Other interests

During lockdown, Noelie picked up quadskating as a hobby – you may now find her skating or dancing around various parks in London during her free time. She also enjoys exploring new parts of London and the world when possible. Noelie has lived and worked in Namibia, Nigeria, Cyprus, Sweden and the UK and looks forward to adding more locations to the list.
