As an Analyst, Noelie supports with research, analysis, business development and project management primarily in Agulhas’ CRUNCH Hub, but also in the Climate Hub. Her role involves supporting with document and data collection and analysis, knowledge management, as well as, supporting project management and logistics. Noelie has experience conducting qualitative research on a range of topics including humanitarian aid, informal entrepreneurship, labour rights, peace and conflict resolution, social protection and women’s empowerment.
Her main focus lately has been on supporting organisational assessments of humanitarian agencies like, IOM, WHO, UNHCR and WFP through the Multilateral Organisation Performance Assessment Network (MOPAN). She has also previously worked on reviews for the UK’s Independent Commission for Aid Impact such as: UK Aid to Afghanistan; UK Aid to agriculture during climate change; Transparency in UK Aid; and UK Aid’s support to the CoVID-19 Humanitarian response. Other clients whose projects she has supported include: World Bank, AfDB, ILO and SADC.
Noelie has an MSc in International Development and Management from Lund University (Sweden) and a BA in International Relations from Keele University (UK).
