Emma is an experienced leader and manager of people, programmes and projects. She has an excellent track record, and a reputation for delivering quality outputs, established over more than twenty years in the UK civil service and in consultancy. She has worked for both the UK Department for International Development and the Department of Health. Her consultancy clients include UN agencies, the World Bank, DFID, ICAI, the Global Health Council, the Center for Global Development, WaterAid and Save the Children.

She offers particularly strong skills in strategic communications and planning, networking, partnership building, policy research and analysis. She is also an experienced international negotiator. She has particular expertise in health and development policy issues, having worked for a range of clients in areas relating to health systems reform, drug policy, drug resistance, communicable and non-communicable disease, and also governance, capacity building, climate resilience and the environment.

Emma’s country experience includes work in the UK, US, Ghana, South Africa and India.
