As an Analyst, Emily works alongside the team supporting in research, analysis, business development and project management. Her role includes scoping out new business opportunities for Agulhas, to grow its portfolio of work and working on reviews produced for the Independent Commission for Aid Impact and work for other clients including the UN organisations. Emily has extensive qualitative research methodology skills and experience, including her current work on the Evaluation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Framework in Jordan.
Emily holds an MSc Development Management from London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Development from University College Utrecht, Utrecht University. Prior to her role at Agulhas, she worked as a Business Development Consultant at Development Pathways. There she worked on generating new business opportunities for DP, collaborating with clients including UNICEF, ILO, UN Women, WFP, DFAT, UNDP, and the FCDO with a focus on social protection. She has completed multiple internships with ActionAid, Oxfam and local CSOs in Turkey and Tanzania which focused on gender and women’s empowerment, refugee rights and migration.
