Dijana Tomic Cox

Business Manager

Dijana is Agulhas’ Business Manager, looking after finances, contracting and office management.

Originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia, Dijana graduated in modern languages and started her career as an English teacher. During the conflicts in ex-Yugoslavia, she ran humanitarian operations for a number of NGOs in Croatia, including Save the Children and American Refugee Committee. After the war she became a deputy Operations Manager and then a Communications Manager for the Property Commission, set up under the Dayton Agreement to resolve property issues in Bosnia. She was a Business Manager in a think tank ESI for a year long project “Governance Assessment of Bosnia and Herzegovina” funded by the DFID.

Dijana moved to London in 2003 where she has raised a family, worked as a freelance translator and gained additional qualifications in project management (PRINCE 2), before joining Agulhas in 2013.
